The Middle East is bracing itself for a hard confrontation between a series of Arab countries, and Qatar, that refuses to meet a series of stringent requirements. The ultimatum earlier runs today.
Qatar is openly speculated on a military action by Saudi Arabia and its allies. The requirements of the country, including the closing of satellite Al-Jazeera, would intentionally unenforceable to justify.
The Arab countries demands that Qatar’s support of extremists stops, the ties with Iran afbouwt and pays compensation for his politics. Doha peinst’t there: “No one can be a sovereign country an ultimatum to impose.”
