Checks German-Dutch border for G20 summit

In the run-up to the G20 summit on 7 and 8 July in Hamburg, the German police Monday started with extensive border controls in Aachen, germany, to the Netherlands and Belgium borders. Approximately one hundred agents have carried out checks.

The measure is taken to prevent potential perpetrators entering the country, according to the ministry of Home Affairs. In the coming weeks, followed by more border controls. Germany has this with the neighbouring countries and the European Commission matched.
