Leader borough of Kensington get on

LONDON –

The head of the London borough of Kensington and Chelsea Nicholas Holgate, has resigned. He was just like the entire board of the borough is under pressure after a fire in a skyscraper, the Grenfell Tower. Holgate said Thursday at British media that he would rather had stayed to work through, but the government of prime minister Theresa May has on his departure urged.

The apartment building with more than 120 relatively cheap apartments was June 14, in a short time in flames. At least 79 people are in the conflagration perished. It was the deadliest fire in London in more than seventy years.

The borough in a posh part of west London, is accused of being wrong on the fire to have responded, and are not or not sufficiently to have done such to prevent fire. Also, the government-May is under fire, because its austerity policies to unsafe situations would result. The British Finance minister Philip Hammond rejected that Thursday at SkyNews.
