The British prime minister Theresa May speaks on Monday of “a tragic incident.” She reacts to the news that once again a car intentionally into a crowd is driven.
The incident at a mosque took at least a person’s life, and several people were injured. Her thoughts go out to the victims, their loved ones and the emergency services on site.
According to Khan, this attack, that focus seems to be on a specific community, like the attacks in Manchester, Westminster and London Bridge, “an attack on our shared values of tolerance, freedom and respect.” He calls on citizens to be calm and to remain vigilant.
