Brexit negotiations start a little later

LONDON –

The formal negotiations on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union to start next week, but may not be available on 19 June. On that day the British government expected its program to present to the new parliament, said brexit-minister David Davis on Monday.

Davis said that prime minister Theresa May the “great negotiations” about the brexit will perform. His task will be to negotiate about the details.

The European Commission wanted Monday not to speculate about the exact start date. “That is not dependent upon us. We have to wait. We are fully prepared and ready to start”, said a commissiewoordvoerder. He repeated the importance the EU it attaches to the uncertainty for EU citizens as soon as possible.

This week will be “technical discussions” were held on the practical course of affairs during the negotiations.
