The portal ZDNet has published the results of studies whose aim was to find out which of the four virtual assistants smarter. The experiment involved Google Assistant Siri, Cortana, and Alexa. During the experiment they were asked about five thousand questions. The complex was not only questioning what is usually wants to learn from assistant user. Knowledge of computer assistants were evaluated on a number of criteria, paying attention to how well they understand the questions themselves, whether by themselves or use the links to other resources.
Google Assistant answered 68% of the questions, but almost all of his answers were correct — the program was able to correctly answer 90 percent of questions. In second place for the savvy turned out to be Cortana from Microsoft, its performance was slightly worse assistant from Google, but also impressed: she answered 56% of the questions, of which panned out almost 82% of the answers. Alexa to Amazon Echo could handle only 20% of the questions, but almost 87% of the answers were correct. Assistant Siri from Apple, according to the table of ZDnet, was able to recognize 21% of the questions that were answered with an accuracy of 62%.
Google Assistant again all beat. In March of this year he has already competed with the Alexa, and quickly won the contest and now has consolidated its success in competition with a large number of competitors. However, we have to admit that Siri is pretty well said in Russian, what can be said about “Cortana” cortana speaks several languages, but Russian is not yet know. So, probably, the Russian Siri may prove to be smarter than “Cortana”.
