Alphabet Boston Dynamics was sold to the Japanese

Company Alphabet in the last year threatened to sell Boston Dynamics. Yes, those that make fun, but creepy robots, and then mocked. Apparently, Google has not decided what to do with all these robots, so I decided to sell them together with the Japanese company Softbank, which is also engaged in developing robots.

Pepper, one of the most famous robots developed by Softbank, has worked at the pizzeria, so Handle, Big Dog, Atlas, WildCat and the other guys from Boston Dynamics will certainly keep him company and will be able to learn something useful. Maybe Pepper will be able to learn from them graceful gait, and other cool “features”.

Details of the deal were not disclosed, but mark Raibert, the founder and head of Boston Dynamics, says that the merger of his company with Softbank will benefit them. Previously, Boston Dynamics wanted to buy Toyota, but negotiations have stalled, and the company abandoned further attempts to buy out the U.S. developer robot.
