Comey did leak information to the press

WASHINGTON –

Former FBI-director James Comey decided on the basis of a “gut feeling” to make written reports to keep track of his conversations with president Donald Trump. He suspected that he was such reports would need to have the FBI “to protect.”

Comey acknowledged during a hearing in the U.s. Senate that he is a friend and has asked by him recorded information about the talks with Trump to share with the press. “I thought: that will lead to the appointment of a special prosecutor.”
