Time to get your monocle forth, and affected to talk. BMW has its latest Art Car unveiled.
And that is for us the lovers of a good excuse to have quite arty-farty. The tricky thing is just that I BMW’s latest Art Car itself, not snap, because I mainly see a black M6 GT3 under some photoshopped stuff. Anyway, that will undoubtedly be me.
Although, the press release that BMW along with the work of Cao Fei, is also suspected of long. If you have a lot of words need to explain that something special is, is that according to me is never a good sign. Perhaps had the writers not enough time for the message to be brief. Anyway, it comes with the latest Art Car is all history and parallel universes et cetera:
“Cao Fei’s work is a reflection on the speed of change in China, on tradition and future. With her BMW Art Car project, she delves into a trajectory spanning thousands of years, paying tribute to Asia’s ancient spiritual wisdom as it swiftly spreads out into the third millennium. The multimedia artist approached the BMW Art Car in a way typical for her artistic practice, building a parallel universe.”
The kunstmevrouw that her name among BMW’s eighteenth placed says himself the following:
“To me, light represents thoughts. As the speed of thoughts cannot be measured, the #18 Art Car questions the existence or the boundaries of the human mind. We are entering a new age, where the mind directly controls objects and where thoughts can be transferred, such as unmanned operations and artificial intelligence. Which attitudes and temperaments hold the key to opening the gateway to the new age?”
The work consists of three parts. There is a cool video, an app, and the car itself. The video is about a spiritual leader who travels through time. The M6 travel within a short time, however, to Macau, to be there racing through the narrow streets of the island with Augusto Farfus (funny video) behind the wheel.
Do you think it’s rather nice that BMW is trying to the Art Car of the future, in drag, or you’ll get through the strings above this M6 on the photos especially sense in spaghetti? Let us know in the comments!
