But as it turned out, the timing of delivery of the ship in operation can move, — it is reported TASS citing a source in the rocket and space industry.
It was originally planned to make the first launch of a spacecraft from the Vostochny cosmodrome using rocket “Angara”, but now experts have proposed to change the booster on a Phoenix missile of a middle class with engines RD-170, which now also is in development.
Project development and construction of the carrier will require a little more time, but will not lead to serious modifications of the vehicle. Experts explain that the test of the missile test was initially planned for 2022, so now discussing the possibility to move the date of the first flight of the “Federation”.
Spaceship “Federation” is being developed to deliver people and cargo into Earth orbit and to the moon. In the Autonomous flight mode, the ship can be up to 24 hours, and in mode space station can work for a year. On Board the ship can carry up to four crew members.
