Red Bull threatens with departure from Formula 1

The British/Austrian renstal has once again on the hips.

Some time ago threatened the team to the Formula 1 behind. Then it was uncertainty about a motorleverancier the reason for all the speculation, and also now has something with power. Recently found namely meetings place where it was spoken about the engines after 2020 in the Formula 1 can be used.

Helmut Marko performs the pressure on Liberty Media, however, by stating that the F1 bosses for the end of this year should confirm that by 2021 an independent motorleverancier in the Formula 1 comes to sources of power supply.

With the current motorenreglement in mind that sounds like a bad plan, because the drivelines that are currently used are extremely complex thanks to all the electrical systems. Marko wants, therefore, that the new engines are fast, loud and relatively simple.

The drivelines must be in accordance with the Austrian less than 10 million dollars is going to cost and so is it for many more parties to which things to build and deliver. If one fails to have such an independent manufacturer for 2018, Marko does not guarantee that the Toro Rosso and Red Bull continue to be active in the Formula 1.

Pretty threatening language, so the man who, together with Gijs van Lennep ever won at Le Mans, but we expect it all along will fall. Your idea?

UPDATE 19 may 2017: yes, we think there is still the same!
