’1 billion for brexit, a lot’

The United Kingdom will from the negotiations about the brexit steps as the European Union (EU) continues to ask for a compensation of 100 billion euros of the British. That says brexitminister David Davis in an interview Sunday with the newspaper The Sunday Times.

,,Even a fee of 1 billion euros is in my eyes, a lot of money,” says Davis. The EU and the United Kingdom are already weeks in consultations on the terms and conditions for a departure of the country from the EU.

The president of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker has already a minimum amount of 50 billion euros”. The British newspaper the Financial Times came in a calculation on at least 100 billion, but a study commissioned by the British government by the Institute of Chartered Accountants amounted to 5 billion euro.
