’Lieberman in the picture as a successor Comey’

WASHINGTON –

Joe Lieberman seems to be the best cards to have fired FBI director James Comey to follow. The former senator has made a positive impression on president Donald Trump, said sources at CNN.

Trump and the former senator sat on the table. The president made a day later to be known at the point to a new FBI director. “I’m very, very close,” said Trump Thursday. He was not hinting which candidate are preferred.

The 75-year-old Lieberman was in 2000 as the running mate of Democrat Al Gore, the presidential election and lost to George W. Bush. Lieberman is not altogether popular among the Democrats: so he supported the 2008 Republican presidential candidate John McCain.
