A public beta test Guinta of “the Witcher” starts may 24

Company CD Projekt RED has announced the imminent start of the public beta test for card game Quint (Gwent) from the universe of “the Witcher”. This is the next stage in the development of the game after a fairly lengthy closed beta. Public beta will be available may 24, 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The developers note that the transition from the private stage to the public stage will entail a technical break — from 22 may to the beginning of the public beta test on 24 may, the game servers will be unavailable. The card collection and game progress will be reset to provide a level playing field at the start. However, the participants of the closed beta test will receive the barrel with cards and other rewards from the game’s creators.

Recall, beloved card game Quint (Gwent) from the universe of “the Witcher” was announced as a standalone game at E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) 2016, which was held from 14 to 16 June in Los Angeles. Quint will be released for Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4. Free game will be distributed by the model free-to-play for training and multiplayer modes, and single player campaign with multiple storylines will have to pay.
