US ‘concerned’ to slugfest to visit Erdogan

WASHINGTON –

The United States joined Turkey to complain about disturbances during a visit by Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan. In battles outside the residence of the Turkish ambassador were eleven people injured, among them an agent.

The American ministry of Foreign Affairs stated,our concerns in the strongest possible terms” to have passed to the Turkish government. Also, the mayor of Washington, reacted angrily to the violence.
