Modular Google Project Treble will make Android updates faster

The Google developer team announced a new architecture of Android, called Project Treble. It is designed to solve the problem of the slow process of updating devices to newer versions of the Android operating system, when Nexus smartphones and Pixel, published jointly by Google, are updated almost immediately, but numerous gadgets from the usual manufacturers get updates at best a few months when we are not at all without them.

Treble Project is positioned as a modular base for Android. It will be implemented already in Android O, which is currently under preview for developers.

At the moment, the update must go through many steps before it gets to the gadget end user. Project Treble process is significantly simplified sharing “implementation vendor” (device-specific low-level SOFTWARE, mostly generated by the chip manufacturers) from the Android framework. As a result, the framework of Android can be updated independently associated with iron AT the low level.
