Almost 500 migrants rescued in Mediterranean Sea

Rescue workers have Saturdays 484 refugees from boats in the Mediterranean Sea rescued. They also found seven people who had died. That has the Italian coast guard on Sunday reported.

So far this year, more than 45,000 migrants Italy is reached. That is a growth of 40 percent compared to a year earlier. Most of the refugees coming from Libya. They are there by the people smugglers on rickety vessels in the direction of the Italian island of Lampedusa or the mainland.
