Samsung Electronics announced the launch of its payment service Samsung Pay with Bank cards Visa and Mastercard issued by the largest Bank of Tatarstan “AK bars”.
Recall, Samsung Pay began work with Visa cards in Russia on 1 December. Initially Samsung Pay earned in Russia on 28 September 2016, with cards of payment system Mastercard. At the moment the service is available to holders of cards issued by the following banks and financial institutions: Alfa-Bank, Bank “Saint Petersburg”, “AK bars”, Binbank, VTB 24, MTS and MTS Bank, Bank OTKRITIE, Raiffeisenbank, Rocketbank, Bank Russian Standard, Sberbank, Tinkoff Bank, Point, and Yandex.Money.
Samsung Pay NFC-enabled and MST available to owners of smartphones Galaxy S8, S8+, Galaxy A7, A5, A3 (2017), Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy A5 (2016) and A7 (2016), smart watches Samsung Gear classic Gear S3 and S3 frontier, and only on NFC for the Galaxy S6 and edge.
