North Korea wants to extradition spionnenchef Seoul

SEOUL –

North Korea has Friday the extradition demanded from the head of the South Korean intelligence service. Lee Byung-ho is, according to prosecutors, one of the driving forces behind a murder plot against leader Kim Jong-un, reported state news agency KCNA.

Pyongyang accused the CIA and the South Korean intelligence agency NIS last week of a plot to Kim to kill with a biochemical weapon. The regime announced Thursday with a uitleveringsverzoek to come, but it was still unclear which suspects the country had in mind.

The North Korean authorities called Friday on the arrest and extradition of NIS boss Lee, two other South Korean officials and a Chinese man. The NIS suggested that the allegations made in the air are caught. The service reported Friday that Lee does not want to respond to the request for his extradition.
