ISTANBUL –
A German translator for a left news agency in Turkey, were arrested. The German tv station ARD reported Thursday that the Turkish authorities, the 32-year-old Mesale Tolu suspect of making propaganda for the terror and membership of a terrorist organisation.
The woman sits in a women’s prison in Istanbul. She works as a translator for the news agency Etha. According to the ARD is the woman with Turkish roots, in Ulm in the German state of Baden-Württemberg born.
In Turkey is an unknown number of journalists in prison, among whom the German-Turkish journalist Deniz Yücel. He works for the German newspaper die Welt.
