LE TOUQUET-PARIS-PLAGE –
The French presidential candidates have Sunday morning cast their vote. Emmanuel Macron was at 11.00 pm on the first. He voted in the town hall of his place of residence Le Touquet, in the Pas-de-Calais in the northwest of France.

The retiring president François Hollande was there in his constituency Tulle, in central France, early on. He called the French after the first round repeatedly at Macron support. The unpopular socialist laid down in the disastrous predictions and imagined not to stand for re-election. The candidate of his party, Benoît Hamon, pulled out two weeks ago, only 6.4 percent.
