PRAGUE –

The centre-left governing coalition in the Czech republic is less than six months before the parliamentary elections disintegrated. The social democratic prime minister Bohuslav Sobotka has the surprising resignation of his cabinet Tuesday announced. Cause of the conflict are the allegations of tax fraud to the address of the minister of Finance Andrej Babis, leader of the liberal-populist coalition partner, ANO.

Sobotka said on tv that he with this step, way out, trying to create out of the political crisis. He goes Friday to president Milos Zeman to resign. Zeman has the last word about it, but this is not a term. The Czechs go on 20 and 21 October to the ballot box to the seats in the new House of Representatives to distribute.
