Known for his awareness of Evan Blass (Evan Blass) through the resource VentureBeat has published renderings and revealed details of its forthcoming smart watch Huawei Watch 2, which had not yet been officially presented.
According to the source, the debut of the Huawei Watch 2 will take place at the same press event on 26 February for the opening of the exhibition MWC 2017, which will take place in Barcelona from 27 February to 2 March, which is expected to announce a flagship smartphone Huawei P10 and P10 Plus.
Huawei Watch 2 received sportier appearance than the first clock generation, and support cellular communications with the slots for cards nanoSIM. The hardware basis was Android Wear 2.0. The closest competitor will be the LG Watch Sport, announced in early February. On the rendering shows three color options — black, orange, and gray speckled.
According to earlier leaks, a 42mm watch will get a 1.4-inch display and, optionally, can work with cellular networks on their own. Version with integrated SIM card can support data transmission, to make and receive calls, even in the absence of Wi-Fi network or connected smartphone.
