Samsung will release Tizen operating system 4.0 in September 2017. This follows from the documentation published on the forum Tizen Developers.
The latest version of this OS is not limited to mobile devices, it is also compatible with home appliances, gadgets “Internet of Things”, wearable electronics and smart TVs.
As follows from the published plan to release the third preview version of Tizen .NET will be available for download next month, and the first beta version of Tizen 4.0 will be released in June.
