Apple without fanfare has released a software update for the wireless headphone AirPods. Update of the firmware has a number 3.5.1, it is automatically available to all AirPods, provided in the charging box and connected to an iPhone or iPad. After connecting AirPods the user can check the current firmware version by going to settings > General > About device > AirPods.
The exact list of changes Apple has not released. How said the representative of Apple reporters AppleInsider, the update includes various bug fixes and flaws.
Note that the AirPods users complained about the rapid discharge is complete the charging case, as well as sudden disconnection of wireless AirPods headphones during phone calls. It is not clear whether the update fixes these problems.
