This was announced by the manufacturer through the official account NokiaMobile in the social network Facebook. Moreover, the record contains a hint of a few novelties, since the reference is not to “the announcement” and the announcements, plural. Declared literally the following: “More announcements to follow on February 26th… Save the date!”.
We will remind, recently the company HMD Global has introduced its first smartphone under the Nokia brand — Nokia 6. It will go on sale in China on January 19. According to the manufacturer, Nokia 6 was the first of several Android-based smartphones under the Nokia brand, the debut of which is scheduled for the first half of 2016. As expected, the international version Nokia 6 makes its debut at the MWC 2017, which will take place in Barcelona from 27 February to 2 March 2017.
In may, Nokia announced a strategic licensing agreement with Finnish HMD regarding intellectual property and brand, in which the HMD will be able to create phones and tablets of the new generation under the Nokia brand for the next ten years.
