The company HMD Global has introduced its first smartphone under the Nokia brand — Nokia 6. As reported then, smarttag will go on sale in China earlier in the year at a price of $ 245, and only through the online retailer JD.com. Now JD.com opened accepting pre-orders and announced the date of start of sales — on January 19.
According to the manufacturer, Nokia 6 was the first of several Android-based smartphones under the Nokia brand, the debut of which is scheduled for the first half of 2016. As expected, the international version Nokia 6 makes its debut at the MWC 2017, which will take place in Barcelona from 27 February to 2 March 2017.
The smartphone is enclosed in a metal body with a fingerprint scanner in the home button. equipped with a 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5 D display with rounded edges, 16-megapixel main camera with phase detection autofocus and dual tone flash, 8-megapixel front camera. The hardware basis was the OCTA-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 430, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB of internal flash memory expandable with cards of the format microSD 128 GB.
The work is produced under the Android operating system 7.0 Nougat. The battery has a capacity of 3000 mAh. Supports two SIM cards, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB OTG. Also worth noting is the stereo speakers. Dimensions are 154 x 75,8 x 7.8 mm.
We will remind, in may, Nokia announced a strategic licensing agreement with Finnish HMD regarding intellectual property and brand, in which the HMD will be able to create phones and tablets of the new generation under the Nokia brand for the next ten years.
