The operator VimpelCom (Beeline brand) announced the commercial launch of fourth generation network in Magadan. The LTE network uses frequency 2600 MHz band, the average data transfer speed is now 20-30 Mbps, and peak speeds up to 75 Mbps.
Coverage encompasses residential areas, schools, shopping and business centers, as well as important social objects.
For example, the LTE network is available in the Central Park of culture and recreation, the stadium “Sparta”, “ice Palace”, shopping center “Mall city”, the Shoe and the Chinese market, Cathedral square, the Embankment of the river Magadanka at the Park named Boldyrev, and in squares 60th birthday and the 70th anniversary of the Magadan and other popular places. LTE network is also available in the towns of Sokol and Uptar.
