Have you ever thought what is the name of your car means?
No? I also do not. An American company, and distributed 215 cars in to the meaning of the name. Conclusion? All car names are roughly divided into twelve categories, as the origin arrives.
The chances are that the name of your car comes out of a location, the nature, something cultural, and other modes of transport, a krachtterm, a musical (!) or a mensennaam. If not, then you autonaam bound to be something to do with adventure, speed, versatility, technology or the future.
For example, it is the Volkswagen Passat, under the heading of ‘nature’, named after the German trade winds. And the Toyota Yaris under ‘Culture’, named after the Greek god of beauty and elegance; Charis. But whether that last well as well chosen is?
In which category your autonaam falls, check HERE. Some of the model names that the company in this infograpic dumped, we know here in Europe do not. That should not spoil the fun, it remains an interesting plate to the wall of your showroom or bedroom to fill. (via oppositelock.jalopnik.com)
