The Porsche is more Porsche. We compare the old and the new.
The Panamera (driving test) was so far the odd one out of the current line up of Porsche cars. His striking appearance had both haters and lovers. This group is now a little bit together with the new Panamera. Porsche has the pronounced appearance of the gezinsbak addressed and in terms of design what is more 911-tricks applied. Let’s take a good look at the differences with the previous model. The top photo shows the new model, the photo below, the old.
The front
The ‘Corvette’ headlights are refined and the new front bumper stands out. The current design language which we know of the 718 is now reflected on the new Panamera.
The side view
Here seems to be the car a bit more in proportion. The sharp lines are preserved, and the sloping roofline does a little bit of Tesla thinking. A nice attempt to move the whale-image to shake off, it is not entirely successful.
The back
The back is probably the biggest improvement. The typical Panamera taillights had to exit and there had been a 911-style lights for the place. The car also has a cleanere look because the plate at the top moves.
The interior
The previous Panamera did not lack in the area of interior. This had all the typical Porsche style, and that is when the new model is no different. Also the new Panamera will get the Ferrari manettino button on the steering wheel, introduced on the 918 Spyder. The 12.3-inch screen, incorporated in the centre console, is also a nice novelty.
