De (on)mogelijkheden van een F1-race in Nederland
The file is now a bit tiresome and yet we have every reason to be there one more time to dig in to.

Questions

Mp Rudmer Heerema (VVD) has to minister Schultz on the call pulled. On the occasion of the family days at Zandvoort will see Heerema do: a Grand Prix of the Netherlands. Whether that’s on Zandvoort, Assen or if necessary on the Maasvlakte must be done. Check the questions below.

Kamervragen Formule 1

Zandvoort

About the circuit in the dunes is already enough written, so we’ll keep it for now on a short list for illustration of our idea that the Formula 1 is no longer to Zandvoort will return.

  • The paddock offers a lot of room for the F1 circus to accommodate. Will probably the Hugenholtzbocht to abandon the field to the extra square meters to asphalt for the benefit of the battery trucks. Unfortunately, this is one of the most characteristic and original twists and turns to the track (yet) rich.
  • The access roads are carefully expressed, not able to cope with the already mentioned battery trucks.
  • The circuit itself and the associated facilities (grandstands, pit boxes) are absolutely not F1-proof.

Addition post in the comments, we see something over the head. In addition we will guess that prince Bernhard is not the whole familiekapitaal through it will jackets for the Formula 1 but to circuit park zandvoort.

Axes or the Maasvlakte

Organize an F1 race at Assen would technically be possible. Previously the reason there Champcars on the Drenthe circuit and that are very serious cars in terms of speed in the area of the F1. In addition, the facilities are in order. Possible problem: Assen is traditionally a motorsportcircuit. Before the renovation, it was even as a highlight on the MotoGP calendar due to the unprecedented flow and speed of the old job. There is not very much of it left, but it is all there it is a lot safer to become.

On the Maasvlakte, we can not really say much, because there is (still) no circuit. That is one view of the space up to the possibilities, but there is a lot of money is needed. And if the circuit once it is, will Bernie Ecclestone still need to convince people to “his” Formula 1 down to ironing. No easy feat, unless money. A lot of money. There we go also no separate tip to spend.

YOLO: can the Netherlands is not a piece of the action from Spa-Francorchamps?

A moppie out of the box thinking, why not. Spa is a half hour drive of the Southern border between Limburg and the Dutch knew the beautiful circuit in the Ardennes has always been easy to find. At the same time, for years are restless around the Belgian Grand Prix because of, you guessed it, money. If it needed to have a private race like you can the Netherlands better behind the Belgian government to stand up to themselves together, so be strong for the preservation of the race in perhaps the most beautiful grand prix circuit in the world?

This would be the race itself the one year the Grand Prix of the Netherlands and the other year the Grand Prix of Belgium. Admittedly: it is an admission of weakness, but at the same time, perhaps the most obvious option. But we do have to say that the last couple of years things are a little calmer around the financial situation of Spa-Francorchamps and the circuit in each case through 2018 on the calendar.

Now, you guys!

Of course, we are curious as to how you think about the fact that Heerema, the Grand Prix of the Netherlands on the political agenda, place. That Zandvoort in its current form is unsuitable, we know in the meantime, so surprise us with innovative insights! It seems that Bernie meeleest…

Thanks for all the tips!
