NEVS op het randje van een faillissement
Enjoy the Saab while you still can, because the once illustrious brand from Sweden is now really on the verge of permanently disappearing.

NEVS is in financial problems, so should the Chinese people now also recognize. That, even after the rescue of Saab by NEVS does not run out of steam is because it is a public secret, but so far denied the owners of the brand that bankruptcy was near. Last week it was announced that 600 employees have to wait longer on their wages, but the question is whether they their pennies ever going to see.

The company has deferred payment requested, so that it has more time for negotiations with potential investors. NEVS is afraid that creditors otherwise a spanner in the works throw. It shows how precarious the situation within the group, because if there is no one with a bag of money across the bridge, then it is the end of the story.

“We perform currently in discussions with two major car manufacturers, but it all takes longer than we had hoped for.” said NEVS president Mattias Bergman. “We will all suppliers pay it off, but now have the space needed for the negotiations to complete.”

It is, however, still unclear whether NEVS and Saab actually defer payment. It is possible later today, more well-known.

Update – 19:04: The Swedish court has NEVS no extension of payment granted. This seems to be the future of Saab to cross-border transactions in danger. NEVS is in appeal against the decision, but something tells us that the cloth for the Chinese soon will fall.
