We go back in time with a solid Ford.
The Ford was Fine with a very special concept from 1976. The car was thanks to removable panels four cars in one! Unfortunately, there is little known about this model, but the unique aspect makes the Ford still very interesting to watch. The car had both a pick-up truck, a station, a fastback and a notchback proposals. The prototype was developed through a collaboration between the Ford Design Studio and coachbuilders of Carrozzeria Ghia.
The Fine was on the chassis of a Fiesta and made his debut on the motor show of Turin in 1976. Two years later the concept will also be showcased at the Chicago Auto Show. However, there was not much interest for the special four-wheeled vehicle. The Ford has, therefore, never the production stage. A great out-of-the-box idea, but consumers had apparently no sense in traipsing with the panels. The Fine was therefore both a very practical as well as an impractical car.
