Official: McLaren 570S Sprint makes debut at Goodwood

McLaren seizes the annual speed festival of Lord March to be the canvas of an extra-fast 570, ideal for Dafne Schippers. See here the 570S Sprint.

McLaren notified us with the introduction of the 570S GT4 all that, there’s also a more exciting version of their basismodelletje was on called 570S Sprint. Now the time has come and we will give you a couple of images to show of the sportiest Sport Series variant until now.

The 570S Sprint has no admission for the public road and is not suitable for a particular racing series. What you need, you ask? The thing to a circuit and some sprints pulling at a trackday of course. It is however possible to create a ‘GT4 compliance Pack’ to order which you can do in GT4 races.

The changes compared to the regular 570S are mainly related to the aerodynamics and weight savings. So (dis)graces of a giant spoilert running into carbon, for example, the back of the car. This for the necessary downforce, of course. Also, there are magnesium wheels including a central wheel nut.

So you are not too many problems incur, does Sprint continue the necessary veiligheidsdingetjes that are good to have if you are a little too much speed on a circuit. Think of the FIA-approved roll cage and racestoelen in combination with six-point harnesses and a standard brandblussertje.

McLaren races is not about the changes to the engine, they say about this only that the 570S Sprint by default is filled with New Life™ 0W-40 engine oil, developed by McLaren Automotive technology partner Mobil 1. That will also work on the F1 cars so it should be good (although…), so want the purple pants make clear to us.
