Every year it is surprising which brands reason for the flag to hang. Or not.
The data that JD Power collects are once again in a clear list cast. The ranking is determined on the basis of the number of technical problems per 100 cars. In addition, we have good news for, in any case, Subaru, Jeep and Chrysler. These three brands grew the most on the list, and so they have their homework well done, still a little bit short through the curve, on the basis of a single list to conclude that the cars of these brands really has a better quality.
Porsche already has a number of years, always at number 1 in the list. The sports cars from Zuffenhausen to do it again this year great with 84 problems in 100 cars, but in the end lost them. It is Kia that the flag can hang! This is a brand picked up with 83 problems the lead. The Koreans were last year still on place two, and in addition, Kia together with Toyota, the only non-premium brand to ever that the study “wins”. Incidentally, performed a Kia last year, the list of non-premium brands. JD Power distributes the research in different categories.
For the research, use was made of over 80,000 reports of owners and leaserijders of MY 2016 cars. The results showed further that Jeep and Chrysler as said before, most of the progress made, but with respectively 113 and 115 problems, both brands still not great. FCA, as a group, do it anyway, not the best, in view of the problems in Ram (114), Dodge (117) and Fiat (174!). Furthermore Daimler is behind his ears, scratching. Smart stands stiff at the bottom with 216 problems, where the last year Fiat leaving. When scored the brand of small cars with 154 problems significantly less bad.
