At E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) 2016, which runs from June 14 to June 16 in Los Angeles, Microsoft announced a new game Halo series — Halo Wars 2.
Halo Wars 2 belongs to the genre of real time strategy and it will be exclusive to Xbox One and Windows 10. It is being developed in collaboration with the studios 343 Industries and the Creative Assembly. The game is scheduled on 21 February 2017. Halo Wars 2 will be supported by Xbox Play Anywhere, which allows users who once bought the game to play on PC with Windows 10 and Xbox One General saves, progress and achievements.
Beta multiplayer Halo Wars 2 for Xbox One now available for those who wish. Testing will continue until 20 June 2016. To participate in the beta test requires Xbox One console, high-speed Internet connection and a gold Xbox Live Gold.
