Verstappen en Rosberg
The Dutch driver made yesterday for an entertaining show in Canada.

That image is of course still fresh in our memory. The 18-year-old driver left Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg quite a sweat during the Grand Prix of Canada. The Mercedes was faster, but Rosberg could Verstappen did not pass by the excellent defensive work of the Dutch. The fight between the two ended in the last round, Rosberg braked too late and lost control of his car. The wonderful defense of Verstappen was also the international media did not fail to notice. We have a summary:

Le Monde: “An epic duel between Rosberg and Verstappen. The Dutch prodigy let the German spiders in the last round.”

Valterri Bottas for Williams took the final podium spot after a fine drive ahead of teenage sensation Max Verstappen at the Red Bull.”

The Guardian: “Verstappen’s defensive skills look to have secured a podium place for Bottas. It was excellent work from the Red Bull, on older, softer tyres than the marauding Rosberg. Those two points could make a difference in the drivers’ championship, too.”

National Post: “Max Verstappen made some clever moves in his Red Bull to keep fourth place ahead of a charging Rosberg, who spun his Mercedes AMG in a bid to formerly of overtake on the final lap to finish fifth.”

Max Verstappen looks on itself as always in a modest look back at the race (video). Although the Dutchman was hoping for a podium, he takes pleasure with the fourth place. “A little rain would have helped,” said Verstappen. According to the driver were the last of ten laps, the most exciting ten laps in his career. He had the fourth position to hold. Ultimately, it is the Limburger successful.
