Golf 7 R
Is that turbo!

Maybe it’s a bit disrespectful to a Volkswagen Golf 7 R 300 hp to be considered as a ‘Wave’, but the fact is that the German hatchback no nekkendraaier with a vengeance. This specific Golf frowns undoubtedly the eyebrows with a stoplichtsprintje. The well-known Dutch VAG tuners in JDEngineering knew 519 hp and 580 Nm of torque from this Golf R to make. That equates to almost 260 hp (!) per litre.

The German got an upgraded turbo, gearbox, intercooler, fuel pump and a carbon airbox, so the bizarre forces properly can be processed without the quantity in the other runs. Furthermore, the R comes with a downpipe so that the Golf just that bit more impressive sounds. Because let’s be honest, a standard Golf R 2.0 sounds by far not as brutal as the Golf 5 R32 with raw 3.2 zespitter.

By means of the installed components, a custom software composed with the above-mentioned ability to result. The new achievements are unfortunately not published, but a regular Golf R sprint in around five count to 100 km/h.
