Actor Idris Elba breaks ancient land speed record in a Bentley

That was Sir Malcolm Campbell in 1927, also never thought, that his record him 88 years later by a very large black man was taken.

Idris Elba, celebrated actor from o.a. The Wire, has earlier this week with a Bentley Continental GT Speed, an 88-year-old speed record broken. On a plain in Wales broke the Brit with a speed of 180,361 mph (290,263 km/h), the record in the standing mile, that since 1927 (174 mph) in the name of Sir Malcolm Campbell.

It is the year 2015 a lot of less hazardous and much more comfortable experience to this easy to cop, but you should anyway do. The PR 1-2 paper between Bentley and Elba was part of the four-part Discovery show Idris Elba: No Limits‘ which the actor currently shooting. Elba had this shooting in lucrative projects such as the Jaguar XE-intro.
