System of tracking VicoVR created for low-cost virtual reality helmets

3DiVi company, headed, by the way, Dmitry Morozov from the Urals, has launched on crowdfunding platform Indiegogo raising funds for a wireless tracking system VicoVR created for mobile devices virtual reality.

Sensor VicoVR allows you to use all of the user’s body to control virtual reality while using cheap helmets like Samsung Gear VR or Google Cardboard even.

The system scans the space and tracks the movement of 19 joints in the body, it’s possible to track two people. A processor that calculates the position of the user before sending information to the mobile device. Used for data transfer Bluetooth interface, supported devices on iOS and Android. There is also a dedicated wireless handheld controller, with which you can hack a zombie or to play ping-pong.

VicoVR offered in different packs for the price of $174. To start production, 3DiVi hopes to recruit 75 thousand dollars. If the amount to be collected, delivery will start in November 2016
