Saab 900 Speedster
A cool design that are only limited to a protoype.

But what is ‘ie cool! This Saab 900 Speedster was in the middle eighties, especially in cooperation with a Swedish automobile magazine built. The design comes from Leif Mellberg. Although Mellberg already for a while among us, it is the Saab that’s still. The car would currently be in possession of a collector from France.

The prototype was less than three months in each other pounded. The cabrio is in fact a glorified 900 Turbo, but a lot lower and stiffer. In contrast to a regular 900 cabrio looks of the Speedster angular, sharp and a bit rude. Three fine ingredients for a tough sports car. The two lumps behind the seats, this Saab is a real Speedster. 1984 was simply not yet ready for this Swedish creation. But alas, they did, however, gekkere things in those turbulent years of the eighties.
