The big question is, how has Max done?
After two times qualifications of the new style, was in China again just qualify as the last couple of years had been. With three sessions and tension to the end. And the question is, who has the best done? Could Max be surprised with a personal best, were the mercedes cars that are front ended, or were the Ferrari’s finally a thick middle finger to show to the silver arrows?
To start with the last question first: No. Most certainly not. Nico Rosberg took the pole in his Mercedes and Ricciardo will start tomorrow from second place in the Red Bull. Finished third Kimi Räikkönen and Sebastian vettel will start tomorrow from the fourth place. The attentive reader thinks now probably: I miss the name of Hamilton. That’s right. The Brit had “Power Issues” and was not a time to put down.
Then Max, our Dutch pride. How he did it? We get spoiled, because the ninth place that he had doesn’t feel well. Certainly not because his team-mate Carlos Sainz a spot higher. That should not he?
There was still a strange moment for Nico Hülkenberg, who lost just his left front wheel into a quick ride. That is still a thing for Force India, because the FIA is not fond of that kind of fun.
