Koenig KS8
The thickest 8-series was by Koenig built.

If you are at the time, had enough money to make a BMW 8-series to buy, if you are proud of yourself and your taste for cars. With a minimum power of 286 hp in the 840Ci was never short of power. The 850CSi, with the beautiful current V12 that 381 hp to the paving stones sold, was the top model. Would never have entered my head that that little horsepower.

Says, however, that probably more about me than about the car. Tuner Koenig, for example, who thought differently and developed at that time a complete upgrade kit for your 8-series. Koenig has a lot of experience in racing and is also known for being very professional quality. The kit was not built for the rapper with money, but for the rich citizen, with race-asperaties.

Koenig brought an upgrade for the entire car under the name of KS8. Think of it as a widebody, motorupgrades, better rims/tires, new dampening and a custom rear axle. The 850SCi, thanks to a supercharger, an engine management upgrade and a bigger intercooler 510 hp. Before you put than $ 35.279 down. This reached the 8-series has a top speed of at least 310 km/h, depending on the size of the wheels.

The KS8 is also ever in the black and delivered to one or other of the sultan in the desert. Below we have the version in red (also, check out this post on Autojunk), a color which is the most common. Incidentally, there are only a handful of these extended 8-series in the world.
