For the first time surpassed Firefox browsers Microsoft by frequency of use

According to statistical company StatCounter, in April 2016 for the first time, the Firefox browser has overtaken Internet Explorer from Microsoft and Edge frequency use on an international scale among desktop browsers.

Firefox used 15.6% of users, whereas the share of IE and Edge together account for 15.5%. Thus, Firefox took second place, relegating the Microsoft browsers to third.

While Google’s Chrome browser continues to lead with a share of 60.1% and even increased its share compared to previous months, and all the rest, including Opera and Safari got 8.4 percent.
