Would this also copy 5.1 million benefit?
Probably still veeeeeeeel more, because it is not the first the best Ferrari 275. This is one of the three hand-built 275 GTB/C Special programs, designed by Scaglietti. It is the first Ferrari with an independent rear suspension and a transaxle gearbox.
The Special was in 1964 actually built for development purposes and FIA homologation, but that last has the car not been given. The FIA refused the Special to approve because the car is lighter than the standard 275. Despite that, won the 275 GTB/C has a nice success. It achieved a third place in the Le Mans of ’65 and is still standing there at the top as the best car with front engine.
Under the hood is a 3.3 V12 with 320 hp, the engine in the Ferrari 250 LM. In addition, got the 275 GTB/C also the exhaust of that car. The rear fender and the front took a Ferrari 250 GTO. In addition, it features the Special large 140 litre fuel tank and extra air intakes behind the wheels and in the nose.
The 275 chassis number 06701 began his life in the Italian Pietro Ferrario him in may 1965 bought. Not much later, went the car back to the factory to straatlegaal to be made. Also, it was the original color Rosso Cina to Grigio respray in Scurro Metalizatto. Then moved the copy to England, where it landed in the hands of a collector. Changed the car back in its original roodtint, for a major renovation again in the Scurro grey paint. Also seem when extra ventilation is applied, because the past flew in there once in a Ferrari with overheated engine in the fire.
The auction takes place on 16 August. In addition to a trailer with a big bag of money, we are gambling that the bids high.
