In the rich rally history Lancia had the 037 a tussenpaus, overshadowed by the legendary Stratos, which preceded, and the equally legendary Delta S4 that was next. The 037 is, however, more honour.

When the Lancia Rally, better known as the Lancia 037, her debut in 1982 was the least impressive car like the Stratos in 1972. It was the first real Group-B sample, with the thin Italian look has a lot of technique that had proven in circuit racing.
