The year is in half, time to balance the nieuwverkopen. For the first time in ages we have in the Netherlands, not even the 200,000 sales recorded, a record low.
Despite an improving economy leave the recovery on the car market have to wait. In June were 6% fewer cars sold than last year, for the first six months of 2014, the decrease amounted to 5.6%, with a total of 199.221 registrations. This is according to figures from RDC/inMotiv, edited by AUMACON.
We will just have to dig for the last year in which on the half less than 200,000 cars were registered, these are the figures over the last 5 years:

2013211.198
2012331.348
2011328.545

Prognosis
Aumacon maintains its forecast of 415.000 sales 2014. This, they are between the Securities and ABN Amro, respectively 400.000 to 430.000 have predicted. In all projections counted on a recovery of the automotive market in the second half of 2014. We are curious to know.
Last year we came out on 417.000 sell, but only thanks to a crazy final sprint in december, when everyone is still fast a car with tax benefit scored.
