The McLaren F1 is only 20 years young, but a hugely sought after collector’s item. The prices of the legendary British sports car are in the elevator, and remain here for the time being in sit. Yesterday it was announced that the above F1 for £6+ million of the hand, translated as’about 7.5 million euro.
The red candy with chassis number 28 was a gift from the McLaren racer Michael Andretti. After some time, he sold him to a Japanese collector, who is the F1 again doorschoof to a pair of California fans with money. Now put the car in a ocean, the Atlantic.
According to the Daily Mail it is one of the two existing red F1’s, and has Andretti’s signature still on the back of the sun visor. Although the F1 is not yet in the 250 GTO territory goes we do not exclude that this is still even going to happen.
The only thing left is the question: who was the British petrolhead that his work has struck? Names such as Nick Mason and Chris Evans come naturally, immediately bubbling, but this remains speculation. Rowan Atkinson has one, so he will probably not.
