The fact that the power of this classic Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera is jacked up from 234 hp to 270 hp is not very exciting, but the fact that this car is 280 pounds lighter is made of course.
For that huge weight savings to achieve the DP Motorsport really all be taken off the shelf. To start with, there was a 911 3.2 Carrera (G series) from October 1986 completely stripped. Then, were only the most necessary things replaced and many parts replaced by lighter ones.
Thus, for example, the windows are not glass, but perspex. Also, all hinges and brackets are perforated so they are lighter. The end result is that this car is 280 pounds lighter and no 1.185 pounds more weighs only 905 pounds.
The outside is as good as the standard left to make this car a real sleeper. The 3.2-litre six-cylinder boxer engine is as said opgepept up to 270 hp/307 Nm and breathes forward through an RSR racing exhaust system made of titanium. Of course, there is also a limited slip diff fitted.
What this rock green metallic candy should cost? For the sweet sum of €89.911,- you can pick it up in Germany. Drooling is allowed in the comments.
