Photos: American in 6 Series lands on Amsterdam’s bike path

In a strange city is the solution if you have navigation, but follow this slavishly. Before you know it, you end up with your 6 Series rental on a bike path, and on the internet.

We all have a trip with our car and where we are not so proud of. Shit happens, so like you continue your mouth shut, and you go through. It is different when the stadsfotograaf of Amsterdam, Thomas Schlijper, happen to be in the neighborhood. He let us know the following:

It was an American in a German rental car. With co-driver, (his son, so it seemed) in the first instance, be crazy enough not to got out of the car to give directions. Hence, I am not called to be felt, to help. The driver failed furthermore apparently his zijspiegel to use. He told me that the navigation to him by the tunnel sent. At the end of that tunnel, stand posts, hence ie back reed. What, for him, pleading: there are no signs on the spot that the a bike path is.

Now the Amsterdam traffic for an American and, occasionally, a strange sensation, mainly because it is a bike path that is wide enough for a car, and nota bene a speed ramp, turn has. What we also notice is how completely stoic bicycle traffic there but left around it. As if they were the every day experience.

Ultimately, the man weggekomen, but the reverse-fumbling reveals, however, that he is apparently not often in such confined spaces has the need to maneuver.
